Y'know what? I'm just gonna put this up now and I'll send it to the club once I'm admitted. Pfff.
This dude is for  , quite possibly the coolest concept in the world. Basically, the good people of the Pokemon Gijinka Project trying to collect a complete compendium of humanized Pokemon. Is that a cool concept or what? I mean, there are so many artists, whatever their medium or style is, that can relate to Pokemon, and if you check out the Gijinka gallery you'll see that they have a pretty sizeable potpourri of different styles. So, this is my first contribution, as the club was severely lacking in Rapidash. Man, I love the 1st generation Pokemon. I frickin' grew up with them. And what little 6-year-old girl wouldn't like Rapidash? It's a FLAMING UNICORN! COME ON! I tried to raise Rapidash from its pansy-pokemon status a bit and I think he came out pretty well, although the horn isn't as obvious as I would've liked. Not only that, but I drew it on the upstairs computer with the crackwhore monitor so on a regular monitor the colors are a little off. And hoooo boy, do NOT get me started on the anatomical mistakes. Mrrrrgh. And I just noticed the bangles are really inconsistent. They're supposed to be stiff plastic cheapass bracelets (which is why the one on his left is levitating off the top of his wrist) but the one on his right looks like a wrist lei. Well, maybe he's an islander Rapidash. Well, I think Cloyster is next. Never did like him, but he has potential as a Gijinka... I'll stick the full-sized, non pokedexed Rapidash in my scraps. ...God I did a lot of typing. Done in inkitypens and ps7 Time: 1 1/2 hours Rapidash/Gallop (c) Nintendo/Game Freak |
