Yo dogs,

You’ve probably noticed but let this be my formal declaration: I probably won’t be posting anything of note on this account anymore. I’m sorry but I’ve just become totally disillusioned with dA.

Now before you get all “DRAMABAWWW” on me, lemme just say, the dA format really works for some people and that’s cool. And I don’t regret the time I’ve spent here, I’ve met a lot of cool people. It’s just that for me, dA is a really hard place to find the incentive to actually improve and grow as an artist, and my super-distractable, instant-gratification-loving ass always ends up getting sucked back into my little samsara of fanart and lulz.

So, I’m officially pulling out of my self-imposed weeaboo circle jerk and setting out on the road to mad skillz and originality; hopefully I’ll be able to hammer out a portfolio and start developing a style and pursuing a career. If I get good enough and feel like I have a shot, I’ll set up shop over on ConceptArt or something. If not, then whatever.

I’ll still lurk around and comment on your stuff, for sure, but I won’t be posting anymore. However, because this journal is made of all the wank and drama that I have ridiculed dA for becoming, I will, as penance, draw the first 10 requests as made in the replies to this journal. So post swiftly, children, post swiftly.
